Add new capabilities on demand to expand what the IM 7000 can do. Designed with RICOH Always Current Technology, the device offers a wide range of software updates and new features that you can download as they become available without calling a technician or waiting until your contract renews.

Print up to 70 pages per minute (ppm) with crisp, clear 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Reduce reloads and delays with extra paper trays and expand paper capacity to 8,700 sheets. Scan duplex images at up to 240 images per minute (ipm) via the the Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF), and share them instantly via many Scan-To options. Use paperless faxing to send important confidential or legal documents directly to a recipient’s email securely.

Use RICOH Intelligent Support* to expedite maintenance tasks. With RemoteConnect Support, a Ricoh service expert controls your Smart Operation Panel to troubleshoot remotely. Automatic updates, alerts and notifications simplify tedious manual tasks. Access How-to-Videos, Web Help and User Guides to perform your own maintenance. You can also use the Service Request App to activate service tickets.

Use the new, tiltable 10.1″-wide Smart Operation Panel to create your own job shortcuts, access workflow-enhancing apps and move between jobs effortlessly from the easy-to-use dynamic touchscreen. With the Quick User interface, you can perform common tasks, including printing, copying and scanning with one-touch control. Access online content and store information in popular cloud services via the embedded web browser.

Download the RICOH Smart Device Connector app on your smartphone or tablet to print without software, utilities or drivers. Grab files from your device or cloud applications, then print and share them with others. Scan files to your device for later use. For safe and easy contactless printing via Mopria® or AirPrint® printing, simply place your Android device near the embedded NFC tag or scan the QR code with your iOS device.

Maintain accountability in schools, legal offices, government agencies and other shared-use settings. You can require users to enter a passcode or billing code to access functions or release print jobs. Use RICOH Streamline NX to issue accurate chargebacks to individuals or departments, generate reports and improve device management. Built-in-encryption and overwrite capabilities help protect data integrity.

Add a professional touch to your next project with your choice of automated finishers. Expedite paper handling, stack, staple, punch and organize classroom materials, legal binders and office presentations. Your audience will appreciate the finished look, and you’ll have more time to prioritize other, less cumbersome, tasks. Use the 9-Bin Mailbox to separate and stack output to designated bins. The Multi-Folding Unit offers six folding options.

The IM 7000 is ENERGY STAR® certified and EPEAT® Gold Rated* with a Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) value of 1.33 kWh/week. Program the device to shut down automatically at idle times. A Motion Detection sensor turns on the Smart Operation Panel from Sleep Mode as you approach. The Eco-Friendly Indicator tracks your office’s paper-saving efforts. Toner cartridges can be recycled through the Ricoh Cartridge Return Program.
